About Us
Green Room strives for innovation and inspiration in musical theatre, by staging newly released productions and giving a fresh interpretation to classic shows. Founded in 1952, the company has staged several premieres. Through our productions we hope to demonstrate that non-professional theatre can be as impressive and enjoyable as shows on the West End stage. We have an active membership of around 50 performers, supported by our production and front of house teams and over 100 Friends of Green Room.
Join Us
Prospective acting members are asked to demonstrate their singing, dancing and acting talents in an audition. No audition is needed for those wishing to work behind the scenes!
We rehearse on Mondays and Wednesdays and occasional Sundays in Potters Bar. See below for details of where we rehearse and perform our shows.
Annual membership is currently £20 per year. For each production acting members also pay a show fee.
