Green Room Productions stages two musicals each year, in May and November. Occasionally, when the right opportunity arises, an additional third production is scheduled.
Come From Away is an additional show for Green Room this year. As the production requires a relatively small cast of 13 performers, auditions will initially be open to existing members only.

Come From Away tells the remarkable true story of how in the wake of 9/11, an isolated community in Newfoundland played host to the world. As 38 planes carrying nearly 7,000 passengers were ordered to land unexpectedly at Gander International Airport, the locals welcomed their unexpected visitors: uneasiness turned into trust, music soared into the night, and strangers became enduring friends. Welcome to the Rock!
Come From Away is an uplifting celebration of humanity’s ability to come together, no matter what the circumstances. The Friday performance marks the 25th Anniversary of 9/11.
